Terms and conditions

We are here to provide the best baked goods and services possible. We are aware that there are unforeseen occurrences that may occur. We are here to help resolve those as best as we can. As a protection for us and the customer we have some policies in place that should be understood before ordering. Below we are listing important information that everyone should be aware of for those unfortunate situations.

I. Cottage Food Laws

We are licensed under the Cottage Food Law. That means that we bake in a home kitchen not inspected by the health department. According to this law we have to state that “our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, gluten free”, even though our household follows the wholefood plant based diet without gluten.

II. Allergy & Dietary Warnings

Cutiebread baked goods may have come in contact with the following ingredients:

Nut and Nut products
Fruit
Chocolate

The Customer is responsible for pointing out to potential allergy hazards to Cutiebread.

III. Orders, Pick Up Day and Addresses

1. Cutiebread has specified customer pick up times, day and locations.

a) Home Bakery, 122 Northampton Drive, Oswego, IL Saturday, 12:30pm – 1pm

b) Advanced Health of Naperville, 1767 W Ogden Ave STE 143, Naperville, IL, Saturday 11am and 12pm.

2. Orders are to be placed latest by Wednesday, 9am for the following Saturday pickup.

3. Not showing up to the agreed upon pickup time forfeits your order.

4. Cutiebread will not be responsible for any damage occurring to your baked goods once it leaves our facility.

IV. Reasons we may no longer be able to supply the Baked Goods to you.

We may no longer be able to supply your ordered Baked Good to you if we:

encounter an event that is outside of our control;
we are no longer able to provide you with your ordered Baked Good due to issues with supply.

V. Prices and payment

Payment for the Order shall be taken when you submit your Order to us at the checkout. Unless otherwise agreed by us, at our sole discretion, all prices shall be listed and payable in US Dollars. All prices shown are exclusive of VAT. It is your sole responsibility to review the contents of your Order, their suitability, and their costs.
Our standard prices are as shown on our site and subject to change at our sole discretion.
Payment services provider. We use Woo Payments/Stripe to process debit and credit card payments for your Orders. By using the Cutiebread Site and placing an Order, and agreeing to these Terms, you also accept you are bound by Woo Payments’ and Stripe’s respective Terms of Service.
You understand and agree that Cutiebread shall not be held liable for any payments and monetary transactions that occur through your use of Woo Payments and that all such payments and transactions are handled by Woo Payments. You agree that Cutiebread shall not be held liable for any issues regarding financial and monetary transactions between you and any other party, including Woo Payments and Stripe.
You are solely responsible for all transactions (one-time, recurring, refunds and cancellations) processed through Woo Payments. Cutiebread will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from invalid or fraudulent transactions processed with your Woo Payments account. This includes but is not limited to transactions that were not processed due to a network communication issue. If you process a transaction, it is your responsibility to ensure it has been fully settled.

VI. Refunds/Cancellations

If a cancellation is requested after work has been started and supplies have been ordered, there will be no refunds for cancellation. Certain orders if cancelled due to dire circumstances may be transferred to a different order, this is at the full discretion of Cutiebread.

VII. Limitation of Liability

Without prejudice to the foregoing, and to the extent permitted by the applicable law, our liability to you arising under or in connection with these Terms and the contract with you shall never exceed the sum of the fees paid by you to us for any particular Order that is the subject matter of the claim for liability.

Cutiebread is not responsible for bodily injury, property or consequential damage, which may result from services.

Cutiebread is not responsible for any damage to the baked goods or shortage of baked goods caused by anyone NOT employed by Cutiebread.
